By pressing function key F2 the listing will be sorted by Reservation date, function key F3 will sort the listing by Resource name. The purpose of this page is to mark the days of a month that you do wish to be included in searches for available time. You may not wish to have available time returned for weekends or a National Holiday. Mark those days with N and available time for those days will not be returned when searching..The colors are changed by moving the cursor to the line that matches the function on the right. Press the left or right arrow keys to change the color. The default colors are set by pressing the F2, F3 orF4 key. By moving the cursor next to the name that needs to be moved to another position, enter the desired position and enter. Most of the time the User name will be a generic like an Employee or Administrator, you are free to give your Users any name you wish: Salesman Mechanic Pilot Student Surgeon Customer Sometimes, the User name could be the name of a thing or animal. If this field is left blank, the default becomes "User". You may name this identifier with any appropriate label. The program will do searches to help find theproper user. Example: Social security number Zip code Employee number Phone number This screen is the final reservation screen. Note that all the relevant information is displayed. By using the left and right arrow keys, you can move the requested time for a reservation between the open arrows on the screen ( 2:30pm> < 5:00pm).To increase or decrease the requested time, hold down the Control key (Ctrl) and press the left or right arrow key. For a reservation deletion, reduce the bar length to zero. Press Enter to proceed with the reservation. Enter the hours in half hour increments. Hours entered must be between .5 and 24. During the searches, the program will be looking forthese requested hours. Feature select; 0 -- Will search ignoring features. 1 -- All requested features must match. 2 -- Any feature match, will be returned. Mark the features that you wish to include in your search for available time. Start and stop times are requested for convenience. They are the normal hours of operation and requestedsearches would take place between these two times. You can change these standard hours at any time in the Manager's menu under Department profiles. The Resource designation is the name of item that you wish to reserve, such as; Terminal classroom Conference room Operating room In some cases this item may be a person that needs to allocate his or her time in increments such as for appointments. In that case, substitute that person's name for the Resource. The function of this screen is to set up months for future reservations. The number of months that are entered, will have an impact on the total time that you experience in searches that have no end date specified. Searches will take place between the Start and End dates. The number of months and which months will besearched are entered in the Manager's menu. If the end date is left blank, a search through the last available month entered will be done When you search all Units, you can select features. The features marked "Yes" will be searched for. If you mark this item, a search will be conducted ofall installed months and any features that you mark if those features are set up in the Manager's Menu. These features, are entered so you can conduct searches for available time to reserve, based on a search criteria. Example: If you have some classrooms that can hold 30 people,mark that on the feature list. If later you need a classroom for 30 student, you can do a search for available time on classrooms that can hold at least 30 people. Use only as many as you need to start.
